Jet Car

Well I'm moving, crusin' down the road
Doin', exactly what I've been told
I'm trying to stay between the lines
Officer, my speed, is quite fine
But it's getting kinda late and I don't wanna wait
So I just push the pedal down, and accelerate
I'm gonna take another chance, leave it up to fate
I gotta get there any way I can....
Chorus:
Take off in the jet car (for a ride, yea) 4X
The wheels of the car begin to leave the ground
We're approaching, then passing, speed of sound
Over mountains, oceans, beaches, miles of sand
Say, don't-cha'll think my jet car, is quite grand
But then I find myself alone, a thousand miles from home
Suddenly I'm flyin in a no-fly zone
Got a jet fighter on my ass, trying to take me down
So I take it down to the ground...
Chorus
Whoa, man, such a narrow escape
I made it out with nary a scrape
Wait a minute, what's that, a roadblock ahead
There's a man over there with a gun, wants to make me quite dead
So I push the pedal down again, and leave 'em in the dust
Heading up, vertical, g-force rush
I'm heading past satellites, humanistic waste
I finally made it to space....
solo -> Chorus
